"Read this if you intend to start ingress just to submit pokestop"

#PokemonGO: I am a Pokemon player that at first played ingress(just hit level 10 last week) just to submit poke stop that I believe many of the travelers want to do but as for now ingress had become part of my life, I would like to share my experiences with the community. Before you create an account and start ingress spend some time reading this.1. Game mechanic:Although many mechanics in ingress is similar to Pokemon go, please note. INGRESS IS NOT POKEMON. The main difference in Pokemon compare to ingress to me is that for Pokemon go, you can seat in the middle of a few stops and just grind but for ingress, you need to explore. The reason for that is that we gain the majority of our exp by catching and evolving Pokemon, but for Ingress, we gain our experience by linking differences portal(Pokestop/gym) together forming field(imagine forming a triangle by linking poke stops together. Each poke stop is a corner in a triangle). It also required a lot of planning and strategy to maximize the experience gain.2. Pay to win:If you are thinking that you can spend lot of money to level up quick like purchasing lucky egg in ingress, Please note that there's no lucky egg in ingress, the only thing you can purchase is something call portal fracker that allows player to hack(spin stop) double amount for 10 min each time you use it.3. Community:In ingress, there's no such thing as privacy. the moment you attack someone, capture a portal, you are basically telling everyone in the world of ingress that you are playing ingress. A veteran player can easily find out your exact location judging by your playstyle.If the above does not deter you and you still want to play ingress, if the 3 point I mention does not deter you, Welcome to the world of ingress. One tip from me, know the locate ingress community through in-game comm, join their telegram, and if they see that you are really trying to play this game well, they will help you. Ingress item can be traded. It took me 6 months to reach level 10 playing semi-casual with some hardcore days and helps from 2 of my friend from ingress. They give me more than 700 X8 Blaster (ultra ball equivalent items) to level up. It really hard to play ingress solo.Some (Power) Ingress player have access to that will affect Pokemon Go.
