"Could Community Day eventually lead to the release of shinies?"

#PokemonGO: With past events, we've seen certain Pokémon get the shiny treatment. Magikarp during the Water Festival, Pikachu during Pikachu Outbreak, the Gen 3 Ghosts during the Halloween event, Absol and Mawile for the release of Gen 3, and Snorunt during the Christmas event. Obviously not with the first Community day, since Pikachu is already shiny, I believe this is how they'll slowly start releasing the shinies. Say that February's Community Day special is legacy Omastar, they could release the shiny for both Omanyte and Omastar during that three hour window and then the shiny remains in the game. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2mujajJ
