"Is this the right way to predict the next EX waves?"
#PokemonGO: Hi guys, I was looking for a post that could reliably predict the next EX waves but I found several discordant theories about hypothetical three or four weeks rotations. Those didn't seem right to me, since I remembered a biweekly rotation, so I've tried to make a provisional table myself: Days Since Previous EX RaidEX Raid DateWeekdayNotes-11/11/2017Saturday718/11/2017Saturday826/11/2017Sunday703/12/2017Sunday811/12/2017Monday718/12/2017Monday725/12/2017MondayException: Christmas Day701/01/2018MondayException: Skipped809/01/2018Tuesday716/01/2018Tuesday824/01/2018Wednesday731/01/2018Wednesday808/02/2018Thursday715/02/2018ThursdayPrediction823/02/2018FridayPrediction702/03/2018FridayPrediction810/03/2018SaturdayPrediction717/03/2018SaturdayPrediction825/03/2018SundayPrediction701/04/2018SundayPrediction - Easter. It might be skipped One Holiday Exception, which can be split in two points:Christmas day: special occasion. They probably changed the usual schedule to make the EX Raid happen on the 25th. Not the best move imho.New Year's day. I believe they skipped this wave after all the complaints about the Christmas wave. If we don't consider the Holiday Exception, the pattern is very clear: two weeks in a row on the same weekday and then shifted by one.Or we can see it in a different way: the same gym will shift its weekday by one every time it hosts an EX Raid. So basically 15 days between two EX Raids at the same gym. I think this 7-8 pattern makes sense and I've also noticed the same pattern, but alternated, for the invites (the next ones should be on: Tuesday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Wednesday and so on). What do you think? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2DOu26N
