Shiny Mareanie - 9/10The reason why Mareanie is hard to shiny chain for is because there are no direct method to increase the chance of a Mareanie getting called during an SOS chain.It needs a lot of requirements just to start a chain (Surf, Fishing Rod, Soft Reset on Bullbling spots)The only indirect trick to accelerate the chain is to have Taunt. Since it prevents Corsola to use Recover, Taunt will save you multiple turns of Corsola not calling for any ally. (Or Imprison + Recover, good for Smeargle)Shiny Kangaskhan - 8/10There are two ways you can chain for Shiny Kangaskhan, SOS chain a Cubone (20% calling as an Ally), or SOS chain a wild Kangaskhan (1% encouter rate but 100% calling rate as an ally).Shiny Chansey/ Happiny - 7/10This line only appears via SOS call, just like Mareanie. But there aren't many requirements to it, so it's easier to chain for than for MareanieIn USUM this chain is easy because Chansey is encounterable.Shiny Female Salandit - 7/10With Cute Charm Sylveon (Substitude, Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Psyshock), you'll find a white lizard queen in no time.Shiny Abra - 8/10You Taunt/ Meanlook it, and pray that it calls an ally before it dies.Shiny Lapras - 10/10This thing is one of the hardest chains to challenge yourself. Lapras has Perish Song which will ruin your chain if you don't have a proper set up.Smeargle: Perish Song, Imprison, False Swipe, Leaf Blade would do the trick. Have fun using Honey, xAttack, xSp.Def, Sitrus and Leppa chaining for one purple dino.Jk, just don't even bother this one.Shiny Dhelmise - 8/10You need a Scrappy Pangoro with very high level to do the trick. Else it'll be a pain to chain for this red helm.Shiny Castform - 10/10It takes too many conditions to happen. And it's a literal nightmare for shiny hunters. Castform can only be called during weather and its weather form doesn't have a shiny sprite.You have to pay extreme attention to your screen to see the shiny star upon its appearance. Else you won't be able to differentiate one. Just... Just masuda hatch.Shiny Gabite/ Goomy - 9/10It also takes a lot of conditions to happen. But with a proper Smeargle, it's not that painful.Shiny Vanilluxe - 9/10Same thing. Terrible chain.Shiny Ghastly - 8/10It has curse, and it's a ghost type. So you need a Scrappy Pangoro with Taunt. But there's still no good way to prevent it using Curse on you.Shiny Dratini/ Dragonair/ Dragonite - 7/10It has a very high level to begin with and it has damaging + setup moves. The best way to shiny hunt for this line is to use a high level Tapu Koko with False Swipe and SubstitudeShinies with Accuracy-lowering movesUse Substitude on a Scrappy Pangoro (for Sandygast) and problem solved.Shiny PyukumukuUse False Swipe before finishing the allies and problem solved.UPDATEShiny Larvesta/Volcarona - 9.5/10Extremely hard to find one. It has take down so you gotta use Decidueye to chain it, but it's fire type and has flamebody so it's a pain to chain.Shiny Igglybuff - 8/10It's easy to encounter and start chaining for a shiny igglybuff. However, you have to pay serious attention to it because the shiny sprite is extremely similar to the normal sprite.You must shiny with sound on for that star sparkle effect.
