"Tab in/out of AR+ mode makes Kyogre not attack (all pokemon?)"

#PokemonGO: Hi all,While doing Kyogre raids today with our local raiding group, I tried to use AR+ mode to catch Kyogre more easily after reading the posts here. It does allow you to get closer, but it is still awkward to throw the ball and get catch bonuses. So I went into the regular catching phase to finish throwing the last of my premier balls. After tabbing back into the regular catch phase, I noticed that Kyogre seemed to not attack or move around whatsoever, allowing me to concentrate on throwing. Another user in my group tried the method of going into AR+ mode and backing out of AR+ mode with the same zero-attack effects.I do not have video evidence of this, but I noticed the same thing happen to TrainerTips in his most recent video on Kyogre as a raid boss. At 14:35, he goes in and out of AR+ mode and mentions "and I'm still waiting for the attack...", without connecting the lack of attacks to his toggling of AR+ mode. I think he just wanted to re-center the Kyogre? As you can see, for the rest of his throws, he is not using the usual method of waiting for an attack to initiate the throwing sequence on a locked circle size. Please try this out, I can probably obtain some video evidence of my own later on today, but I went 4/4 Kyogre and took break for the afternoon. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2r1Sf3z
