"Why I love relicanth"

If you ask a person about forgotten Pokémon, they will say the usual stuff: The finneon line, maractus, sigilyth, etc. but soon they would probably get to relicanth. The reason relicanth is forgotten is obviously because: •it barely appears in the game •you only find it while diving •it doesn’t evolve And so on. But I thought about it. And I overthought it to hell and I came to this conclusion: Was he MEANT to be forgotten? Relicanth is based on the coelacanth, one of the first bony fish, that was thought to be extinct. And at a point in time (research is for nerds) scientists found them in a place (please refer to previous statement) they apparently hadn’t changed that much since their first appearance a long time ago. So was relicanth meant to be forgotten? Because coelacanths were forgotten by time, why not relicanth. The game DOES remind you of it when you need to get the regis, but other than that it’s pretty forgotten. So is gamefreak actually TRYING to make people forget relicanth? 🤔🤔🤔 via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2BCb90B
