"You never know when one of those random pokemon that are just filling up your boxes in your PC may become useful.."

For me it was a spinda (which I consider one of the most useless pokemon) that I caught three years ago on my old omega ruby.I had recently picked up my old 2DS and decided to continue playing a sun game that I had stopped playing about a year ago. I decided I wanted to finally get the type null, but I wanted it to be as perfect as I could get it (in terms of IVs and Nature), so I wanted it to be jolly natured in order to boost its speed. In order to do so I needed a jolly natured pokemon with synchronize, which I didn't have. So I tried catching an abra and was without luck for about two hours, when I finally turned to my ruby to see if I had anything there (I had put over 100 hours on that game and had hundreds of random pokemon).Turned out I had an abra with synchronize, but the wrong nature, and only a handful of pokemon with jolly nature, one of them being a spinda. Turns out spinda and abra are in the same egg group, and voila! I had my jolly abra with synchronize. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2D0Ss8y
