"An Egg Move Change Idea."

So there are plenty of Pokemon that don't have good egg moves because they are drastically different from their base stages (Trapinch-Flygon, Caterpie-Butterfree, Magikarp-Gyrados, etc).What if those lines gain egg moves, but they do not hatch with them.Hear me out.So once Caterpie evolves into Metapod, egg moves Metapod was bred with become unlocked (with Metapod learning them via Move Relearner). When Metapod evolves into Butterfree the moves match what Butterfree was bred for.So if you hatched a Caterpie from a Vivillion that knew Hurricane and Iron Defense, the move Iron Defense would be present on the Pokemon's relearn list, but only visible once Caterpie has become Metapod, and Hurricane would onky be viable once Metapod evolves into Butterfree.This would give more egg moves to Pokemon that are otherwise held back due to evolution.What egg moves would you like to see become available because of this new method? via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2oFL25k
