"Never let your friends delete a difficult throwing streak research again ~ the comprehensive guide to reliably making better throws."

#PokemonGO: Most of this is not new information. That doesn't mean everyone has seen it all. Some of it may be presented in a new way which hopefully allows it to reach more players. Here is the article on reliably making better throws, allowing you to complete research faster and catch more Raid bosses! I also break down the subject matter in video form, which can be found here. The article and video are meant to be supplementary for the information that better suits that format. What you'll find in each section; The video contains example throws, demonstrations of various techniques and tricks, my handsome face, cool music, and 4+ curve ball Excellent streaks on Tyranitar, Latios, and Mewtwo!Step 0: Receiving the ResearchA breakdown of some of the minuet mechanics of Research and basic info on the mechanics of throw bonuses.Step 1: Finding a Pokemon to Throw AtVarious criteria to consider while looking for Pokemon to attempt streak research on, a spreadsheet detailing each Pokemon's Catch %, Flee %, circle radius, distance, height, dodge type, attack probability, dodge probability.Step 2: Set the CircleThis trick is widely popularized on Reddit and Youtube but do people in your raid groups always set the circle? Next time you see someone struggling, make sure to send them this link! Also, did you know that the circle works on a sliding scale? Not all Great throws provide an equal bonus multiplier.Step 3: WaitPatience is key. If you're rushing to complete Research you may even cost yourself more time in the process. Think of all the time you spend getting to raids. The Bonus Challenge is at least worth that much of your focus. The Latios Bonus Challenge that my friend and master thrower, Ascales797, allowed me to use in the video was actually over 8 minutes long, which was too long to even make a time lapse of. Take your time to practice even on "poor IV" Pokemon. It'll make the real deal that much easier.Step 4: Curve the Ball and Throw It!Because I haven't said practice enough in this summary; practice! It's the only way to really improve your throws. Practice on common Pokemon like Pidgey. It may be a chore to some but I find that it adds to the game. Treat throwing like bowling. Take note of your stance. Record your Bonus Challenges for yourself to help you improve- but share the good ones with your friendsYou can share with me too on Twitter @NoLucksGiven via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Ju8VFX
