#PokemonGO: I haven't seen this talked about so my apologies if this is obvious.We all know the game already decides whether or not you have caught something the moment you successfully hit the mon. The ball wiggles are just for show. BUT if your ball misses entirely or is swatted away, there is a small timeout before the ball is actually consumed. If you manage to pause or quit the app, the game treats it as if you haven't even thrown the ball yet.
