"With the new quest system the gym defending mechanics needs a tweak"

#PokemonGO: Maybe you also wondered lately why you got kicked out of a gym, yet the gym itself didnt turn, just poor you.In the old days we assumed a multicolor accounter to make room for one of his/hers accounts, or a personal vendetta, but nowadays things are far less nefarious:it's simply people doing the "Battle in a gym" Quests and dont mind to take the entire gym, just battle once to finish the quest.Now here's the problem: if you are taking over a gym, i.e. do all the work, your defending pokemon will be on the first slot, which in turn will always be the one that will get attacked by questing trainers leading to eventually eliminating and punishing you, the gym taker, while leaving everyone else plus a free slot in peace. after 10 minutes another player of your color might take advantage of the free slot and so on.The old gym system, sorted by CP, was also suboptimal because reasons we all know and the current gym system (first in - first out) punishes those the most, which did the hard work.Why not have it first in - last out, and people that did nothing but find a free slot to fill a gym will be the first to go again?Whats your thoughts on this? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2HAFz88
