"Hoarders Unite! Is it time for another Pokémon Storage upgrade?"
#PokemonGO: When Gen III was introduced, the Pokémon Storage cap was increased from 1000 to 1500, seemingly enough to cater for the new Pokémon. However, with the recent events rolling out Shiny Pokémon one by one, I find it hard to maintain my collection, constantly reaching above 1490 Pokémon and needing to send some of them to Professor Willow for "safekeeping".Anyone else facing the same problem as I do? Should Niantic increase the cap further or should Trainers be better at managing their Pokémon?Or is it time for the long overdue overhaul of the Pokémon Storage user interface? Maybe with the introduction of boxes like in the original games? Changing the term used from Pokémon Storage to Pokémon Collection (PC for short, as a throwback to the original games, as someone mentioned a long time ago in this subreddit), with Storage Boxes within for better management?Would a change in the Pokémon Storage user interface make it any easier for a hoarder to keep a sane number of Pokémon? Or, programming wise, would it change how the client interacts with the server, preventing a server overload when loading "smaller" boxes of a "larger" collection, and hence allowing more Pokémon to be stored? What do you guys think of this?TL;DR: Increasing Pokémon Storage Cap vs Revamping Pokémon Storage User Interface vs Both. :) via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2rF0zD9
