"Incense now pretty useless in no man's land after introduction of weather system"

#PokemonGO: Before the intro of weather I have enjoyed incense when travelling in desert or on the sea in a boat.I have seen my first ever aerodactyl (back in Apr 2017, I started playing when game is released) thanks to the incense when in desert of Tunisia. Also caught my first lickitung on a ship next to Ibiza by incense.However, this time when I am travelling into desert in Morocco. Even though there is completely no stop or pokemon on my nearby. The incense is heavily influenced by the weather system luring only weather boosted pokemons instead of spawning any rares.Therefore it seems incense seems pretty useless now in no man's land, so it looks like I will only use it during community day.
