I'd like to think that Giovanni's appearances in the Sun & Moon anime are building up to a story arc that uses elements of Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon games. In this case, Team Rainbow Rocket.Because the organization is made up of crime syndicates from other regions, I think it would make a lot of sense if all of Ash's past travelling companions from those regions teamed up with him and his classmates and became Ultra Guardians too.I hope this happens.
