"Community Day encounter quests - step into right direction with Squirtle CD"

#PokemonGO: Hello quest hunters,I have to admit that, despite Niantic's letdown with the glasses model on Squirtle, the new encounter quest implementation was a great concept.When CD specific quests were announced I had hopes for some kind of cool rewards like maybe a shiny for catching 50 featured Pokemon or more likely CD TM. Then they turned out to be just a way of replenishing your most crucial resources during CD and even though I was a little disappointed, I understood the logic behind it.Since now we have gifts and dates were known for long so they probably assumed people could prepare for intensive 3 hours and introduced encounter quests instead. I guess this was also a way to motivate more people to participate as many of us weren't too excited for Squirtle. The best part was the fact shiny form encounter was guaranteed for everyone from same Pokestop. Everyone was so excited about searching for "shiny stops" and sharing information with others. I think these 2 days were the most "community-oriented" ones I ever experienced. I really hope future CDs will also feature some interesting quests. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2KT0kAi
