"Does Anyone Else Feel Like Once You Learn About Natures and their Effects, Catching Pokemon Becomes a Pain?"

If anyone realizes that I am the guy who has been posting stuff for the past week or so, they may also remember that in some of my other posts how I state I don't do competitiive, or breeding, or anything like that for that matter.I recently had a friend try to explain to me how competitive works, and they decided to start off with something simple, being Natures. This had opened my eyes. I knew about Natures, but never knew what they really did. Now, when I used to catch a Pokemon, I would just use it right away, didn't care about natures because I didn't know what they did. However, NOW I catch something and it goes like "Oh... you are a 2% Encounter Rate? But you have a Jolly nature, and your best stat is Sp. Atk... guess I gotta find another"It can be a real drag and almost ruins a part of the game to some point, it's like what Paul did with those Starlies/Starlys/Starly in the one Diamon/Pearl Episode. Catching Multiple and taking the ones with the best stats.I dunno if it's just me, but it also gets tedious if you cant find something you want, or something that would be a good compromise. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2My0NbJ
