"Excessive Notification ... rant?"

#PokemonGO: So we're going to preface this with a disclaimer that I've been having a LOT of in-game GPS issues lately and the "GPS signal not found" message makes me want to throw my phone half the time. If I'm in the middle of a capture sequence and trying for that last throw of a streak, the GPS is now irrelevant and I don't want my throws to have stuttering because I've somehow lost GPS signal.I don't mind the gift/friend system much, but it's still fairly horrible and slow ... and the in-game notifications about what my friends have received in a gift (or that they've sent me a gift) are pointless stay on the screen too long. I'll check when I have collected gifts to give back to them, thanks. Since I didn't get to choose what went into the gift, why should I care how many items they got from the gift? And it's as many as 3 separate notifications - good friendship level, buddy got 3 items from a gift, friendship level increased!! That's great, but stop pestering me about it.Raid notifications. This might be useful for someone rural, but when you're downtown in a city with a fair number of gyms? Too much. Maybe let these pop out as push notifications, but select the gyms that you'd want to know about from their respective badges?But the GPS notification that keeps blocking the top of my screen? The CP from the monster that I just caught while I didn't need GPS signal in the first place? Please, make this damn thing smaller, it's driving me up the wall.
