"[Story] My happiest moment in this game so far"

#PokemonGO: I was walking around in town and came across a family of four; two kids and two adults. They were all pretty high level except for one of the kids, who was only level 14. He seemed upset that his sister and his parents all had awesome legendaries and dragonites while his coolest pokémon was a venomoth. There was an Articuno raid nearby so we agreed to go attempt to do it. It was the little boys first raid and he seemed very nervous about it and really wanted to catch a legendary. Anyways, we beat the raid and got to the encounter screen for the articuno. I clicked and received a 1630cp articuno. The parents also both got pretty bad articunos. The little sister got a good iv articuno and was very excited about it (she knew her 96% articuno was awesome). But when he little boy clicked, he said “Daddy look mine sparkles!” The father then told him that he found a PERFECT SHINY Articuno! The family didn’t seem jealous at all and we were all so happy for him. He started crying because he was so happy even though he probably didn’t know how rare it was. We also didn’t tell him that it’s a 100% catch rate so he caught it after a few missed throws (he insisted he catch it) and freaked out when he got it. His face made me so happy and I am so happy to have experienced this moment! :)TL;DR: Little boy in family of four got his first legendary that happened to be perfect and shiny. He then cried, and I am so happy to have helped him do the raid :) via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2DbD5Pk
