"Track a pokémon after it flees"

#PokemonGO: The other day I was catching a pokémon and it fled and I asked myself "... then where did it go?" I get that in the normal versions of pokémon, pokémon can flee battle and you have to search for them again, but IIRC Niantic stated that they didn't want to build a replica of the original series. My idea would be that, if a pokémon flees battle, you could track it. It would appear as some kind of red dot on your radar and you would have to walk a block or so to get a second chance of catching it. I always loved the idea of tracking pokémon instead of just "bumping into them". Now I get that this is probably not easy to implement, as there are dedicated spawnpoints for pokémon, but well.. I think it would be cool. Any thoughts? via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2OUUSPY
