"Easy guide to grinding exp in Let's Go"

Screenshot of 75,000 exp It's possible it can go higher, but it's the highest I've seen.I'm sure many other people have figured most of this stuff out already, but I haven't been able to find a really simple guide for this anywhere on Google so far, so here's my own guide. This guide assumes you've beaten the Elite 4 already, but if not, most steps should still be able to help you out.Tl;dr: Catch a bunch of Chansey in Cerulean Cave using co-op mode.Buy a bunch of Super Lures and Ultra Balls. 30 Super Lures should be more than enough since they last for so long, they also give you more bang for your buck than Max Lures, then spend the rest on Ultra Balls.Head to Cerulean Cave 2F. This is the floor with a bunch of ladders everywhere. This is by far the best place to find Chansey as it has a 10% chance of showing up, everywhere else it has only a 1% chance. If you don't know how to get there, head to Cerulean City, go north past the bridge, surf along the water on the left, then you should come to a cave. After entering, head straight up past the water and go up the ladder.Activate co-op mode using your joy-con grip. Put both your joy-cons inside the joy-con grip, shaking the joy-cons will activate co-op mode. Co-op mode let's you throw 2 balls at once which not only makes Pokemon easier to catch, but also gives you a higher multiplier for exp.Chain Chansey. Chansey gives more exp than any other Pokemon, and catching multiple in a row increases your multiplier. If you haven't used co-op mode before the controls might take a bit of getting used to, but when you're facing a Chansey, you wanna hit accept with both joy-cons and fling the joy-con grip like it's a single joy-con. This will throw a ball for each 'player' at the same time. That should be enough info, but here are some extra trips to make it easier:If you haven't unlocked Cerulean Cave yet, don't do this with Chansey. It gives more exp, but it's so rare that you'll die of old age before getting a good chain going.Always use lures, not only do they make more Pokemon appear, but you also get more Large/Tiny Pokemon. The second player can't start battles with wild Pokemon, so there's no need to focus on moving them around.Chansey like to jump around left and right and it took me a while to figure out how to hit them when they're not in the center. Swinging the joy-con grip completely horizontally should throw balls in just the right position to catch Chanseys on the sides. You'll want to practice this because it's crucial to accidentally breaking a chain. Here are things that WILL break a chain: successfully catching a different Pokemon, closing the game, ANY Pokemon fleeing from you. Here are things that WON'T break a chain: running away from any Pokemon, leaving the area (which means you can go buy more balls without worrying about breaking the chain)Chansey has an animation where it opens its arms, if you see this run away, it means Chansey is about to flee and break your chain. The combo bonus max's out at 31, so once you have 31 Chanseys, only bother catching the ones with blue or red particle effects around them as they give much more exp. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2FX6gXo
