"Gen 4 is out and we still don't have Gen 3 evolutions in the wild."

#PokemonGO: TL;DR: Gen 1 and Gen 2 evolutions can be found in the wild, but Gen 3 can't even 8 months after their release. It breaks the consistency of the game and removes some of those epic exciting moments that don't hurt anyone and make a few lucky trainers really happy. Plus you can't make AR photos of them.Have you ever found a wild Dragonite in the wild? Okay, maybe that's a bit too rare. How about a wild Charizard, or a Machamp, or a Blissey... I have, and I can tell you it feels amazing. Even if it has low stats, it's a great moment because you know how rare it is and you can even make amazing AR photos of it. I've also met with people I didn't even know played this game while catching rare pokemon like this! However, ever since Gen 3, Niantic decided to stop releasing evolutions in the wild. While it could have made sense the first weeks of its release, it's already been 8 months and it's about time to release them. Plus, what's even the problem in releasing them at launch? If you keep them at a 1000 torchic / 1 blaziken ratio, for example, you are still going to get it first with candies, so it doesn't break any balance.Plus, in terms of consistency, it feels so weird to be able to find a Venusaur and not a Sceptile, or a Gyarados and not a Wailord... And they also do appear in main series games (for example, Metagross in Black/White or Salamence in Sun/Moon).So there is absolutely no reason to not release them and it will add a few great moments of excitement for those lucky enough to find them. Please, let's make Niantic read this post and hopefully think about it again :) via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2PuyBIr
