"Niantic - Please ditch the old PoGo tracking method in favour of adventure sync."

#PokemonGO: I have been playing around with comparing the tracking in Google fit Vs what PoGo says. I knew that PoGo's tracker wasn't very good, but never appreciated how bad it was until now. Yesterday I went on a walk that PoGo awarded 2.5k for, Google Fit had it at 3.25k. On my PoGo walks I'm careful to go in straight lines as much as possible, but still lost 750m. I've also be able to get decent distance walking in a loop around a park near where I live to test how exactly adventure sync works, before PoGo would have awarded me next to nothing for this.I'm a guy who's main aim in PoGo is to complete the Dex, which means I prioritise hatching eggs. But now the most optimal way for me to hatch eggs is not actually open the game. As as if you have the game open it defaults to the old tracker.Niantic please fix this so I don't have to choose between actually playing the game and optimising my egg hatches. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2DmQ8N9
