"Onix should be buffed"

There's no godly reason why such a rare and badass-looking pokemon should be so weak. It should be the goddamn Gyarados of rock-types and yet its one of the worst. It's even one of the worst rock types in RBY. It's only good stat is defense, which means any special attacker would squash it.I really feel for Brock. He spent hours in Mt. Moon to find a poke with a 1% encounter probability, thought "yes, this is a guy that perfectly exemplifies my gym that isn't another fucking Geodude," wastes his signature TM on it, only to get one-shotted by a little turtle with water gun.But honestly though there's no excuse for why a 30' 500 pound snake made of boulders has lower HP, Attack, and Spec Defense than Ekans.
