"Pokemon Let's Go will be a Fun Way to "Transfer" Kanto Pokemon without Transferring Them"

#PokemonGO: With the Metagross, Lick Gengar, and Cyndaquil, Days behind us, the Halloween event swamping us in Ghost and Dark Pokemon, Gen 4 rolling out with another wave likely coming soon, the Nincada family finally available, and Shinies constantly rolling out, a lot of us have had it rough when it comes to storage. I personally am always able to make enough space for these events but it does suck having to transfer a bunch of mons into a oblivion just so I can enjoy new events without stress. And even now we still have no idea when the storage extension is coming. At this rate it might not come until December. I personally am hopeful that it comes out around Let's Go's launch which will undoubtedly have a Pokemon Go event to go with it.But speaking of Let's Go, one thing I am surprised that I don't see commented about here more often is how it'll soon serve as a level way to "transfer" Pokemon from Kanto without truly transferring them. In case you didn't know, Fuschia City in Let's Go will have a Go Park complex with 20 parks that hold 50 Pokemon each meaning we can transfer up to a 1000 Pokemon in total. Like many I was bummed to learn that sending Pokemon is one way street meaning you can't train a Pokemon there and then send it back to your mobile game. But then I looked to a silver lining and realized that this transfer feature will make a great way to lighten my collection of Kanto Pokemon without saying goodbye to them forever.I have a lot of sentimental catches, surplus Kanto legendaries from all those events, Alolan forms, Kanto Shinies, etc that I don't want taking up space anymore but feel it would be a waste to permanently delete. So once Let's Go comes out, I'll be able to have basically "retire" by sending them and freeing up my mobile storage. It's for this reason that I've tried to avoid transferring Kanto Pokemon in my mass transfers as I'll soon have a much better use for them.On top of all that, not only will we get to free up our storage of Kanto Pokemon we don't want to delete, but doing this will also give our Pokemon Go game the Mystery Box which upon use will serve as a "Meltan Incense" of sorts by making the Mythical Steel type spawn in a frenzy around you. Good thing too as the bugger needs 400 candies to evolve in Melmetal and this evolution can only be done in Pokemon Go.TL:DR: If you have Kanto Pokemon you don't want to have taking up storage space but also don't want to delete forever and plan on getting Pokemon Let's Go, you'll soon have an effective "retirement home" for them that can relieve your storage and you'll be able to get Mystery Boxes for Meltan all the while. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2PRKtEq
