While I do of course think that Gen 8 should have wild pokemon battling rather than the Pokemon Go catching system, the overall experience of not having to worry about a million zubats in caves or trying to get through routes while needing to go through as little grass as possible has made the whole game a better experience imo. ESPECIALLY caves.
