""Sell" items for stardust?"

#PokemonGO: While I was dropping items like Potion, Revive, and pokeballs to make room, I felt it was such a waste to just be dropping them for nothing. Then I thought about how after evolving and powering up a bunch of Pokemon I'm all out of stardust. Then it clicked; what if we could sell our extra items for stardust? Like 100 per potion, 1000 per revive, 200 per pokeball, etc? I have so many hyper/Max potions and max revives, that I never use potions, super potions, or revives anyway.
