"Why are private raid lobby codes still not completely random?"

#PokemonGO: As it's getting colder outside, raid lobbies are getting overrun by spoofers again around here. We'd love to exclude them, but it's very difficult to do that since they will usually find our private group. With the current system, private groups all have similar codes, meaning that if the first group opened is Snorlax-Snorlax-Snorlax, the next one will always be Snorlax-Snorlax-Rattata followed by Snorlax-Snorlax-Pidgey and so on. That way private lobbys are pretty useless since spoofers just need to try a few codes to find ours. Can anyone think of a reason why Niantic isn't making codes completely random? What does your local group do to keep spoofers out? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2PKaOV6
