"You ever replay an older game with the sole purpose of using Pokemon who you've never used before?"

Playing Red with Ratata, Paras and Nidoking (never finished the E4 with him, and NEVER evolved him at lvl 16) and will be adding Omanyte to the team at some point. Wondering who else to pick. Also, Paras is like, really bad, but I like the idea of having a Pokemon with Spore, Growth, Solar Beam and Slash. Plus Nidoking just makes him look bad for now.And Ratata is surprisingly not shit.
