"Gen IV starters deserve Mega's"

We've all heard the speculation for Sinnoh remakes in Gen VIII and I love it. I want it so bad. Emerald was my first game, but Pearl was the first one I beat. I even bought a used Prima guide for Diamond & Pearl so I knew all the secrets. I have Platinum and play it regularly and it still holds up so I know it's not just Nostalgia Goggles. The only major critique I have of the game is that the Safari Zone and Underground are tedious and annoying and Honey Trees are even worse. Other than that, it's a 10/10.But enough of my rambling. All I wanted to say is that the starters deserve Mega Evolutions (especially since there were none in Alola).Infernape could be made more decorative to show off his Sun Wu Kong origin and be given a bo staff with an ability mimicking Decidueye's where physical attacks don't make contact because now he's using his staff and not his fists.Empoleon draws inspiration from ice breaker ships which are made to cut through ice, but since his steel typing is already effective against it maybe he could get the Thick Fat ability to reduce their power even more and keep the fire resistance he lost when he got the Steel typing. Plus penguins are fatTorterra is incredibly slow which is fitting for a tortoise, but the World Turtle is a turtle that swims through space and is based off of Sea Turtles so maybe his mega could follow that design a little more and gain the Swift Swim ability to up his speed when rain is in effect. Sunny Day is beneficial for grass types, but also for fire types (which while he isn't weak to them and can get rid of them with an Earthquake), it would be interesting to keep your opponent on edge with no idea of whether you'll run a normal Torterra with Sunny Day or a Mega Torterra with Rain Dance and Swift Swim.What are your thoughts?
