"[Guide] [Let's Go] How to make Money BEFORE the Elite 4"

I've noticed some people have trouble when playing through Let's Go because there's not an obvious way to make money before fighting the Elite 4. It's easy to run out of Poke/Great/Ultra Balls and not know how to get the funds to start throwing again. Here's a series of tips and sources of money, roughly sorted by how early in the game they become available:When buying Poke/Great/Ultra Balls, always buy in multiples of 10. For every 10 you buy, you get a free Premier Ball.Have a Pokemon out of its Pokeball following you around. As you travel, walk through any bushes or patches of flowers you see. Your Pokemon may find a berry for you. On later routes, these can be valuable silver and gold berries that sell for a lot of money. While walking around, your partner Pikachu or Eevee will wag its tail whenever you're walking in the direction of a hidden item. Watch carefully for this and click on suspicious spots to find lots of extra items.Random gifts from your partner can be sold for money. I think these come more often if you play with your partner frequently.Catch combos reward both more XP and more items from each catch. This saves you on Pokeballs when grinding for XP. Also, the candy and berries can be sold for money to make back some of the cost of your Pokeballs.Don't skip fighting trainers on routes you travel. They all give money and many give Pokeballs or even Great or Ultra Balls. You can turn off battle animations and set text speed to Fast to make the easier fights go by very quickly. In Pewter City, you can babysit Slowpoke next to the Museum once per day in exchange for a Big Pearl. In both Mt. Moon and Rock Tunnel, there is a man who will give you 10 regular Pokeballs if you have none in your inventory. Note that he will do this even if you have Great/Ultra/Premier Balls in your bag still. In Mt. Moon, there are hidden items that respawn once per day. These include Moon Stones and Stardust, which both sell for good amounts.Somewhere around Cerulean or Vermillion and the nearby routes (IIRC) Just before Mt. Moon there is a Coach Trainer who gives you the TM for Pay Day as a reward for beating them. Pay Day gives you additional money at the end of a trainer battle based on how many times you used it and the level of the Pokemon that used it.In the Underground Passes between Cerulean/Vermillion and Lavender/Celadon, you can find many hidden items that respawn once per day. These include Pretty Wings, Pearls, Big Pearls, Nuggets, various healing items, Lures, and Repels. In Vermillion City, after finishing the SS Anne, you can battle Mina once per day on the docks. She gives about 2,500 money and a bottlecap. The bottlecap can be sold for a lot of money or kept for Hyper Training in the post-game.The Celadon City Game Corner has random hidden items on its floor that respawn once per day. You'll mostly find candy and berries, but you'll also find PP Up and even PP Max sometimes, which are both rare and expensive items.Pokemon Road, the route between Celadon and Fuschia, has many bushes and flower patches. You can find lots of berries in these patches, including silver and golden berries. Like other hidden items, these respawn once per day.In Fuschia City, once you learn the block-pushing secret technique, you can move a block in the Warden's house to find a Digglet who gives you a Nugget once per day.I believe (but have not confirmed yet) that additional valuable once per day hidden item spawns can be found in Rock Tunnel, Seafoam Islands, the Power Plant, and the Pokemon Mansion. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2QAsDGn
