"Niantic has finally figured out a better CD formula"

#PokemonGO: So starting a few community days ago, Niantic gave us the extra hour after the CD bonuses were live. This helped out so people could play the full 3 hours and not miss out due to trying to get the exclusive move on the best newly caught mons due to appraising. Now this weekend we are getting that over not just an additional hour, but a whole weekend. I think Niantic has stumbled into something that could be the future for CDs (they can actually be a full day now and not 3-4 hours. Basically they can keep the 3 hour bonus section with the double xp or whatever it is for that month along with boosted shinies. What they could do, similar to this weekend, is for the other 21 hours of a full day have the featured mon spawning in boosted rates (but standard shiny rates) and with a chance to get the exclusive move. This helps in a few ways: 1. It seems to eliminate shinies disappearing at the end of the 3 hours as spawns dont change (maybe this isnt the case after all) 2. It allows those working/busy during the 3 hours a chance to still accumulate candy/get the move/have a chance at a shiny 3. It allows ample time to trade for luckies or w/e (as someone that got a perfect lucky cyndiquil just minutes after the event ended, this would be nice) So yeah just wanted to say this. Discuss if you want or say mean things about how this is a bad idea. I know this still wont fix everything but seems like it would help. Also just as an example of a future CD, imagine this weekend, but just one mon (say Totodile) and for 24 hours with the 3 regional times (say 6 pdt to 6 pdt the next day). via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2DXwEhx
