"Trainer Battles - Twitter Tips Consolidation"

#PokemonGO: A consolidation of all tweets posted by the official Pokemon Go twitter account regarding the upcoming Trainer Battles feature. I'll keep this post updated as more tweets come out but hopefully the actual feature is released #soon!December 5th, 2018#GOBattle update: With Trainer Battles right around the corner, we’re excited to give you an even closer look at all the Trainer Battle features we previewed in our recent Trainer Battle blog—starting with the basics! [1/4]Each Trainer Battle requires Trainers to choose three Pokémon to battle with, so be strategic when selecting the Pokémon for your battle party! [2/4]^ Choose up to 3 Pokemon per battle. While in a Trainer Battle, keep your eye on the time! If you don’t knock out all of your opponent’s Pokémon before a battle’s time limit is reached, the victor will be decided by whoever has the most KO’s! [3/4]^ If time runs out, winner is whoever has the most KO's. Keep sending those Gifts, Trainers! While Trainers will usually have to be nearby in order to initiate a Trainer Battle, Ultra and Best Friends can challenge each other from any distance! [4/4]^ Trainer battles must be nearby other trainers unless Ultra/Best friends. December 6th, 2018#GOBattle update: Save your Candies (and Stardust)! With the launch of Trainer Battles, Trainers will be able to permanently unlock one additional Charged Attack move for each Pokémon! [1/2]^ One additional Charged attack can be unlocked per Pokemon (requires Candy and Stardust). With an additional Charged Attack, Trainers have the opportunity to think strategically when approaching each battle! Use your extra move to surprise opponents or cover your weaknesses! [2/2]December 7th, 2018#GOBattle update: Looking to improve your Trainer Battle skills but don’t have anyone nearby to train with you? No worries! When Trainer Battles launch, Trainers will be able to practice battling against team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche! [1/3]^ Can battle team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche. Team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche are available at any time of the day, and Trainers who battle against them can change the degree of difficulty of their practice Trainer Battle by selecting different Battle Leagues. [2/3]^ Team leader battles available 24/7 and difficulty changes per different Battle League. While improving your battle skills is its own reward, Trainers who practice battling against one of the team leaders can also earn rewards, such as Stardust, once per day! Battle wins gained through this training mode also count toward earning an Ace Trainer medal! [3/3]^ Earn rewards daily for battling team leaders; advance on "Ace Trainer" medal stats. December 10th, 2018#GOBattle update: Every expert Trainer knows that good defense is key to winning any battle! During Trainer Battles, Trainers can choose to defend against incoming attacks by using a Protect Shield. [1/3]^ Use Protect shield to defend from attacks. Timing is important! If you use your head and keep an eye on your opponent’s moves, deploying a Protect Shield at the right time will save your Pokémon from critical damage. [2/3]Choose wisely when to block! You can only deploy a Protect Shield a limited number of times per battle before your Pokémon will be left defenseless. [3/3]^ Limited amount of Protect shields available per battle (3). via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2G8mzAX
