"Your toxic pogo player stories?"

#PokemonGO: I’m relatively new to the game (about a month and a half), but I’ve really been enjoying it and feel sad that I missed out on it the last couple of years. I recently had a strange experience though. During this last Lugia/Ho-oh weekend, some friends and I went up to our local college campus to see if we could successfully get our hands on either of them.We found a Lugia raid, and as we walked up to it we noticed that there was another group of people already there. Great! More people to help!Except not at all. We walked up and politely asked if they had already started the raid, when one woman, who was sitting down on a bench holding a phone in each hand, scoffed at us and said we were too late. We said alright and started to arrange going into the raid by ourselves, when she started mouthing off about how we were probably all below level 30 and don’t stand a chance. We looked at her confused as to whether or not she was talking about us, then she looks right at us and says “Well? Are any of you even over level 30?”I was honestly surprised at wtf she was even doing or saying. We hadn’t done anything at all to bother her. It’s not like what she said is a big deal or anything, in all honesty we thought it was slightly humorous how pathetic it sounded; but it was my first encounter with a toxic PoGo player and I was curious about whether this kind of stuff happens often.What experiences have you had with these kind of players? via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2S7wSa2
