"Given the community aspect centered on Pokemon Go, there should be a way to communicate in-game"
#PokemonGO: Throughout the game of PokemonGo, there is an obvious want for more players and a stronger community, whether this be gathering/requiring x number of players to do a raid, sending gifts to one another to receive certain items, trading Pokemon to fill in one another's pokedex, or catching Pokemon on that special day of the month, Community Day.With such an open focus on building that connection either with others or the community around them, there should be some form of in-game communication. Many of the people I gift on the daily I know solely through the game and while we find each other at raids every now and then, I would appreciate some way to chat with friends.I understand that given the diverse range of the playerbase this can prove complicated as we all want to avoid the potentially dangerous scenarios this could present. Although, these fears can easily be mitigated with better design, such as friends requiring mutual consent to message or perhaps granting permissions to certain friends only.I'm sure many of us see the clear situations to this: just add them in some other manner. While I have no real issue with this, I am friends with some people solely for the PokemonGo reasons. I see them at raids, we awkwardly huddle up and battle, we trade a few Pokemons, and we say "peace."TL;DR: There should be a messenger option in PokemonGo for PokemonGo friendships via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2RdwAlk
