"Great influx of new Pokestops/Gyms in 5 hours"

#PokemonGO: This weekend OPR (the platform were people vote new pokestops) has been working properly. With more than 200k reviews per day (before we barely reached the 100K per day) I have had more than 40 portals approved (most of them pending from May), with that, there will be +10 gyms too (just in my city). This change as affected mainly to big cities (were things take longer to be accepted) and places where there is a great amount of pokestops. All in all, I still have pending submission from May till today, so during these days there will be more things to come.This has been possible due to an announcement where Niantic presented a new feature of the OPR (the platform where Ingress player review portals) which has made a lot of players review again.This is going to happen at around 20:00PM (central Europe Time Zone). If you remember, this is similar to the limbo problem fix applied in April when many portals which were in limbo (accepted but with a bug that prevented them to come to live) were released. The thing is that time the solution started on Thursday, so there was a sync on Friday and another on Monday (there’s no sync of portals to pogo during the weekend) which divided the portals in two waves because not all of them were released in time for Friday. This time all have happened during the weekend, so everything is going to be pushed to live this afternoon. But his week will be appearing new stops/gyms too.​:) via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2QNCZ1Q
