"Is anyone else disappointed with PvP?"

#PokemonGO: Disclaimer: I don’t hate the PvP system. The spam tapping is annoying to me, but I don’t hate it because type coverage is still a big deal, and a lot of the system is about knowing how to counter an opponents pokemon with your typing...But I think that it’s very lack luster with what you can do within Pokémon go as a whole. The main series games are hugely about fighting other trainers- you can’t even get from one gym to the next without fighting other trainers, plus there’s the whole part about gym leaders, the elite 4, etc...And yet in Pokémon go we don’t have any of that. We have 3 NPCs we can fight, each with 3 different teams- so 9 fights total. I e don’t encounter any trainers “in the wild”, there are no gym leaders, no elite 4, etcThere are so many ways to improve on the system- add gym leaders to gyms (you could have them show up like raid bosses), have trainers spawn in the wild like Pokémon, etc etc etc. the rewards could include evolve items, Pokémon spawns, trades with NPC trainers, rare candy, TMs, etcWhat are your thoughts? via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2sf34wU
