"So I just got the cops called on me while playing Pokemon Go"

#PokemonGO: Being a white female and living in Australia, it's honestly something I never thought would happen to me but apparently some concerned citizen called the cops on me for walking 'suspiciously' along a street in my own neighbourhood (which has a very low crime rate and I was less than five minutes from home) in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon...apparently that's considered suspicious behavior now.I was out finishing up my tasks for the event (didn't even get a shiny) and got stalked for a few blocks by the cop car (which was proper weird and unsettling, why not just stop and check on me?) . So I went into my corner store, got a drink while they watched from their car and then when I sat down outside to drink it they approached me and demanded to know what I was doing in the area (um, walking?), where I lived, wanted to see ID (didn't have any on me) and know how many times a week I walked in the area. They said that someone (who obviously needs to get better things to do) called and said I'd been walking up and down their street for hours. Uh, no. Try once down it and then back up it in the space of like 20 minutes. I have no idea what was going through the head of the idiot that reported me. Even though I hadn't done anything wrong I was still shook by the whole experience.Has anyone else had a similar experience? via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2FBV7uq
