"Anyone else too nervous to do big evolutions in case they pop up in a special research quest later?"

#PokemonGO: When I finally hit 400 Magikarp, I was beyond thrilled. I immediately evolved to a strong Gyrados and I was relieved that literal years of Magikarp hunting was over.And then about two weeks later, I got to a new stage in A Mythical Discovery. And there I found out I had to catch another hundred or so Magikarp for a brand new Gyrados. Needless to say, it was traumatizing. Especially given that I live 20 minutes away from anywhere populated enough to have a good amount of pokestops/gyms/pokemon. So now I live in fear of evolving my Ralts, Wailmer, Feebas, etc. in case I wind up needing to do it again. Hell, I already did Altaria and I feel like that’s gonna bite me in the ass later. I’m literally stuck on “evolve a Grimer” for the Meltan quest despite having evolved 2 Muks because they don’t spawn out here anymore.I’m just annoyed at having to put off getting some of my favorite Pokemon just because I might get screwed by a quest later. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2VeS139
