"A pokestop in the park recently became a gym will it be ex eligible?"

#PokemonGO: Hi I am from mumbai, Maharashtra,India Our community has been waiting a long time for an ex gym after so many years one of the three pokestops in the park became a gym this was on 8 march,2019.I used overpass to check whether there was a blue patch on that park and there was.Here is a link to that picture https://ift.tt/2u03hVn There have been debates in my community saying that if it was ex eligible it would have the tag the day it became a gym.Is this true?
