"Is Tangrowth currently useable for anything?"

#PokemonGO: Previous posts on Tangrowth assumed it would get Grass Knot or another 2 bar grass charge move. Will Tangrowth still be a good choice to use as a grass attacker now that it only has access to Solar Beam? Or is it hugely outclassed by Roserade, FP Venusaur, and FP Sceptile?
