"Who stole all the shiny’s?"

#PokemonGO: I was so excited when the machop shiny was announced and it happened at the perfect time. It’s slow at work and my boss was on vacation so I had lots of extra time to get out and hunt. I live close to 2 universities with lots of stops. I hit it hard this past week(walked 109 km last week and am at 40km this week already) I had just evolved a machop so I had a rough idea how many candies I had and I didn’t use a pineap on any of them. Well, after all that, not a single shiny. No machop, no mankey, no meditate.....nada. I went back and, not counting the ones that got away, I caught somewhere in the ballpark of 730 machops and 400 mankey. What started out as pure excitement has ended in pure frustration.
