"Community day at the 3PM time has changed my group from a 3 hour group event to a “how quick can we catch 3 shiny and then go home” dud."
#PokemonGO: This is obviously one group’s perspective.SoCal here. Community day at 11-2 was so much fun. Get some breakfast. Do your morning errands and then hit your playing spot 11-2. After two you still had Half the day to do what you wanted and roll into dinner. Now it’s 3-6. It goes right up or after dinner time for most with kids. By six you want to be winding down. Getting home and settling in. We’ve seen a steep decline on people in our spot lasting the entire window. Several will catch until they have enough for one of each shiny and then they ditch. We did that this month. Last month we played until 6 and then getting home and ready for dinner and getting the kids to bed was a rush and not fun. Next month it’s on a Sunday. School the next day. We will be cutting it short again. It’s too bad. The early afternoon timing brought out a lot of people that made a day of it. It’s sad to see that change. via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2UHsNPf
