"Niantic missed a trick with the "events" tab?"

#PokemonGO: At the moment in redirects you to the webpage where you can apply for tickets to Go Fest (Chicago at the moment). However, I think it would be great if this tab was used to list all the PoGo events running in the one place, rather than filtering through the various news announcements. For example, dates when Gira-O starts and leaves raids, Latios (which is now gone), Eggstravaganza, upcoming Community Days etc. There can always be a link to the Go Fest registration site as well. These questions get asked multiple times a day on my discord I.e. "When does Giratina leave?" so having them all in the one place would be very useful. Of course this means more work for Niantic, but it's quite obvious that many people aren't paying much attention to announcements.I know there's a few sites that list ongoing PoGo events and countdown timers, but the average player probably wouldn't know of their existence.Just a thought!EDIT: Yes I know there's a news section, but when you have multiple events running concurrently and many upcoming events, it's easy to lose track. Scrolling through all the various news announcements for dates, times etc is not the most ideal implementation. This site does it fairly well, it wouldn't be hard for niantic to do something similar in game so that the majority of players know about it - http://bit.ly/2CAGSmK via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2UWV84g
