"On average, it takes almost 22 minutes out of my limited play time to distribute gifts to friends every single day. This is way too long."
#PokemonGO: Repositing since it got accidently automod'd.my work desk sits on 2 stops, and using my gotcha I am able to rack up groups of gifts quickly. The last two weeks I have been tracking some stats on how long it takes to get through friends, trying to be as efficient as possible. I sort by friendship level and go bottom up, and then begin at that same position once I accumulate 10 gifts again. I hit the gift cap before I am able to reach all my friends, especially now with luckies.here are the numbers:Average time to send 10 gifts: 2m10sAverage number of friends checked per 10 gifts sent: 18Doing this ten times a day is about 21m40s of play time doing literally the most boring but necessary work in the game at the moment. The goal of this post was to highlight the ridiculous amount of time it takes to send gifts to friends, mainly thanks to a poorly designed UI.Hopefully a post like this helps raise awareness to this tedious, boring task and its time suck, and niantic makes a change that gives more consideration to the user experience. Thanks for reading via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2IsIuTO
