"The solution to shinies: chaining."

#PokemonGO: I see a lot of dedicated players don't like how, after putting so much effort in finding a shiny, they still don't get it because they weren't lucky. This made me think about something we have in pretty much every main series pokemon game: chaining. You'd encounter the same pokemon species several times in a row (using some special item or method) and its odds of being shiny would increase. This makes it so, eventually, everyone would get their shiny if they put enough effort. They could make chaining as simple as catching only that pokemon without encountering any other species, or require the use of certain item or method. Either way, I think it would be a fun and healthy change for the game. The base odds would be kept, to not have everyone drowning in shines, but at the same time anyone who put some effort would get their shiny, so it would actually feel rewarding. What do you think?EDIT: I'm against making shinies even easier as they are right now, but looking at how many people are complaining about them, Niantic might make them more common. This idea is to prevent that and give an alternative solution that would keep them valuable and rare while also rewarding time and effort. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2UoogRx
