"To all people asking for lower shiny rates"
#PokemonGO: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/bgnyuk/a_tangible_experience_3075_buneary_shinyless/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2xPlease read the linked above post and if necessary for understanding, the most available copy of Microeconomics for Dummies, and a text on Entropy. It is simply irritating sometimes when people spout imbecilic verses of "I've spent 2 hours/insert arbitrary time here shiny checking and found nothing, but THIS guy already found 3 shinies in 30 minutes! This game/Niantic is stupid." Any fashion of the sort works. Go blither to Blaise Pascal and see if he will change how probability works. You should pride your luck or your diligence when finding a shiny and forget the useless projection of anger towards the game, its creators, and the laws of probability. I may just be ranting, but for God's sake people, be reasonable and understand that shiny Pokemon are rare for many more reasons than to give you a bloody hard time. New features to reward us for our diligence in shiny hunting would be fantastic, but lowering the shiny rates just defeats the purpose of rarity and the feeling of accomplishment upon finding a shiny. via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2UzLCPs
