"All legendaries (and 3rd level evos) should now be catchable in the wild..."

#PokemonGO: Now that the Lake Trio are in raids, AND are wild catches, there is no reason that other legendaries (and also 3rd level evos like Guardevoir, Metagross etc) . The logical inconsistency between the Lake trio and other legendaries is IMO unexplainable and i don't really see a strong logical basis for this on Niantic's part.​Treating them all consistently would provide a nice bonus for those people who are out and about catching and would draw some people back to the catch game (instead of the raid or hatch game that is played too). Even if they reduced the chance of a Dragonite or Tyranitar encounter (which are pretty rare now), the chance of randomly encountering a rare mon like this would be a big plus in the game. And it would break the monotony of the endless Numel/Barboach etc spawn and make it that bit more bearable.​(Also, if done right, Niantic could use this to detect spoofer activity). via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2LmQYhr
