"Changing Mr Mime as a European regional"
#PokemonGO: For many Europeans (such as myself), Mr Mime has been the bane of our existence since Day 1.I've had a thought recently about it being changed as a regional due to complications surrounding it's pre-evolution, Mime Jr, and how exactly could we get it going forward (as far as I know, getting an egg from a specific region doesn't hatch a regional pokemon).Going forward, I've had a thought on what Europeans could get in its place and sieved through a few currently unreleased and future Gen pokemon:Gen 3Kecleon - I know it wouldn't match up given its meant to be a chameleon that partly turns invisible but since it has yet to be seen (officially) in Go, it's one of the few that'd work as a regional due to no pre/evolutions.Gen 5 - Well all know Gen 5 is coming, when is another question (my money is on October 2019). With it comes the largest amount of pokemon ever released in a single generation at 156 and with it comes a decent amount of singular pokemon perfect for regionals.Audino - This Normal type is basically the Chansey of Unova with the exception that it doesn't evolve (it does have a Mega evolution however). It's quite a common pokemon in Gen 5 and would be a good fit as a European regional.Emolga - This Electric/Flying Squirrel is the Pikachu clone of Gen 5 that again has no pre/evolution attached to it and make good as a regional replacement for Europe similar to Pachirisu and its regional status.Gen 6 - It may be some ways off but a Gen 6 European regional is likely due to it being set in Kalos (fictional France) and along with it comes a few singular pokemon that would be perfect as regionals.Furfrou - It's a Normal pokemon based on a French Poodle. It's as simple as that. Considering Mr Mime is very much based on French mime artists, this one feels like a no brainer.Dedenne - An Electric/Fairy that's the Pikachu clone of Gen 6. It's a small rodent based pokemon that was potentially based on the French Toothfairy and therefore would be a good fit as a European regional. That's just a few ideas I've thrown around. There's plenty more singular based pokemon out there that would be fitting as a European regional but haven't named them all. Whether Mr Mime gets replaced is anyone's guess but here's me throwing some ideas for a potential work around for Mime Jr. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2Ya59Za
