"We're long overdue for a real content based release."

#PokemonGO: I think shiny releases outside of CD have become fast food for me. They're the cheapest form of "content" that Niantic can release at any given time in order to satisfy the masses. When was the last time something incredible really happened that changed the game for a niche crowd? December, 2018 with PVP right? And since then they've made a few changes. Some good and some just terrible. Niantic added some new moves in which only 2/4 I believe are actually useful, a few moves got rebalanced, they added more moves to some pokémon's skillset. But those changes have been slow compared to the number of shinies that have flooded the game this year. Oh. And no global quests have been seen since October, 2018.I know that these things take time but there are other ways that they can keep more people happy and engaged. Also, don't get me wrong. I love shinies too. But, dude, can we get some more real content? It doesn't and shouldn't always be about releasing a new shiny variant into the wild. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2IKXZFm
