"A controlled report that at least some spawn points from before the Great Spawn Change are back"

#PokemonGO: Others have posted observations that certain spawn points have been added in the last two days, after the Safari event. This is another report that, differently from previous reports, also controls for both spawn time and location.I've closely monitored the spawn points at my house as part of Silph Road's "Wild Biomes" project. I've documented the exact spawn times for each point and have followed them daily to report to the project. Before the "Great Spawn Change of 2019" I had three spawn points at my house, one of which spawned every hour from X:27 to X:57. That spawn point definitely disappeared with the Great Spawn Change. Instead, I received a new spawn point at a different location at my house that spawns every hour at X:58-X:28 (so the overall number of spawns at my house was not affected by the Great Spawn Change). At some point in the last couple of days, the old X:27-X:57 spawn point came back, and I now have both the old X:27-X:57 spawn point from before the Great Spawn Change and the new X:58-X:28 spawn point that was added with the change.Even though these are good news, many other spawn points that disappeared with the Great Spawn Change have not come back, so the large-scale effects of the most recent changes remain to be seen. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/311givT
